Hunters on Amia can gather a variety of resources from traps, fishing spots, or from Big Game Hunter hunts.

Big Game Hunter

Every Hunter is able to participate in a Big Game Hunt by using their Job Journal and choosing to Travel on a Big Game Hunt. You can then choose what kind of biome you would like to travel to, or it will choose at random if you wish. If a PC’s Secondary job is Hunter, the success chance to go on a Big Game Hunt is 80%, but they can try again immediately. Hunters must wait ten minutes after a successful hunt before they can go again.

Big Game Hunter Guide NPCs located throughout the world will take Unskilled PCs on hunts for a fee of 10,000 gp. You can either choose what kind of biome you would like to travel to, or it will choose one at random. The Unskilled success rate for a Big Game Hunt is 60%. If a hunt attempt is failed, it will still charge the fee. They can try again immediately and pay the fee for each attempt. Unskilled PCs must wait one hour after a successful hunt before they can go again.
