Merchant
In the bustling markets, the air is alive with the clamor of voices and the rattle of coin. Here, amidst stalls laden with exotic wares and goods of every description, the merchant is hard at work. With a keen eye for opportunity and a silver tongue that could charm the very stars from the sky, they barter and trade, weaving webs of commerce that bind realms together in mutual benefit. From the spice-laden caravans that traverse desert sands to the sleek ships that ply the open sea, their ventures are a testament to the enduring spirit of enterprise and the unyielding pursuit of profit.
Merchants on Amia are able to store a great number of resources and work with items in general.
Features
Item Value: Use your Job Journal on an item to see the gold piece value of that item (according to the NWN Toolset value).
Storage Boxes: Merchant characters have merchant boxes which can store an infinite number of a single Job System resource. You can access these boxes by using your Job Journal and following the prompts. These are best used to store base resources, as the merchant boxes only save Job System items as they are on the NWN palette. As such, you would not want to store Job System weapons or armor, for example, unless you are okay with those items losing the properties they gain from the Smith who created them. Primary Merchants have access to 30 storage boxes. Secondary Merchants have access to 10 storage boxes.
Miniature Storage Chests: Use your Job Journal on a Storage Box Kit to create an Empty Miniature Storage Chest for 10,000 gp. A Miniature Storage Chest acts the same as the Storage Boxes that a Merchant can access through their Job Journal, except that they can be given to other players to store a single resource each.
