The Amia Job System

The Job System is a complementary set of jobs and resources which players can use to enrich their roleplay and create a multitude of special items. These items are capable of providing temporary enhancements, spawning placeables or summons, or even providing your character with an Epic or Wondrous piece of equipment. Each job is different and allows for a variety of avenues of roleplay for your character – and you get to interact with other players in the process, too!

Each character is able to take one Primary job and one Secondary job, which will become notated in a Job Journal that you will receive the first time you take a job:

  • Primary jobs have a 100% success rate in crafting items at their dedicated stations or in gathering job-specific resources at resource nodes. They will also receive a bonus roll with a 75% success rate to gather an additional resource from that node. There is no bonus roll during crafting.
  • Secondary jobs have an 80% success rate in crafting and gathering, and their bonus roll for an additional resource has a 40% success rate. There is no bonus roll during crafting.
  • Unskilled jobs: You can attempt to gather resources or craft items for jobs that you do not have, but it will have a 60% Unskilled success rate. Unskilled rolls do not get a chance at a bonus resource at nodes. Some aspects of certain jobs require the use of your Job Journal, and thus cannot be attempted if you do not have that job.

Crafting jobs require you to place any ingredient in the crafting station, and then close the station before you will see the crafting dialogue.
